Cards
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and JCB, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe holds it and gives us a token.
3-D Secure is applied where your bank requires it. If a payment fails we retry once after 24 hours before touching your service.
Digital wallets
PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all available at checkout. PayPal subscriptions renew automatically; you can cancel the billing agreement from your PayPal account at any time, though please cancel the service with us too so we are not left guessing.
Bank transfer
SEPA Direct Debit for euro accounts and BACS for UK accounts, on monthly and longer terms. The mandate takes a few days to clear, so your first invoice needs a card or PayPal payment.
For annual invoices above £500 we also accept plain wire transfer — ask support for an invoice with bank details and a purchase-order reference.
Regional methods
Depending on your billing country you may also see iDEAL (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), giropay and Sofort (Germany), Przelewy24 and BLIK (Poland) and EPS (Austria).
Cryptocurrency
We accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDC and USDT through Coinbase Commerce.
Two things worth knowing:
- Payments are credited once confirmed, usually minutes but longer when networks are congested. Do not pay by crypto if your server is about to suspend.
- Crypto payments are not automatically recurring. You get an invoice email each cycle and pay it manually, so annual terms are much easier to manage.
Refunds on crypto payments are issued as account credit, or by bank transfer if you would rather have the money back, at the exchange rate on the day of the original payment.
Tax
All prices exclude VAT and local sales tax, calculated at checkout from your billing address.
EU business customers can enter a valid VAT number to have tax reverse-charged. UK customers are charged UK VAT. US customers are charged sales tax only in states where we have an obligation to collect it.
Invoices are available in the client area as PDFs and always show the tax breakdown.
Billing cycles
Monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annual. Longer terms are discounted — 5%, 10% and 20% respectively — and the discount is shown in the price before you commit, not claimed back afterwards.
You can change cycle at any time; we prorate the remainder of the current term against the new one.
Failed payments
- Day 0 — payment fails, we email you and retry after 24 hours
- Day 3 — service suspended, data untouched
- Day 14 — service terminated and data deleted
Reactivating a suspended service is instant once the invoice is paid. If you are having trouble, talk to us before day 14 — we would far rather extend a deadline than delete somebody's world.
