Acceptable Use Policy

A short list of things that will get your server turned off.

Last updated: 1 January 2026

This policy applies to everyone using our network. It exists so that one customer cannot ruin the service for everyone else, and so we stay on the right side of the law.

1. Prohibited content and activity

You may not use our services to host, transmit, or facilitate:

  • Illegal content of any kind, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to law enforcement immediately and without notice
  • Malware, ransomware, exploit kits, phishing pages or credential harvesters
  • Command-and-control infrastructure for botnets
  • Unsolicited bulk email, or infrastructure supporting it
  • Content that infringes copyright or trademark, including pirated game files
  • Material that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against people or groups
  • Fraudulent services, including fake stores and payment interception

2. Network abuse

You may not:

  • Launch denial-of-service attacks, port scans, or intrusion attempts against any host
  • Spoof source addresses, or run open resolvers, open relays or amplification services
  • Circumvent our filtering, rate limiting or resource controls
  • Resell our services as raw infrastructure without a reseller agreement

3. Resource use

Game servers are expected to use their allocation. What is not acceptable is using a game server plan for something that is not a game server — cryptocurrency mining, distributed compute, media transcoding farms, VPN exit nodes or proxy relays.

Where sustained use degrades service for others on the node we will contact you first and work out a plan. Suspension without notice is reserved for cases causing active harm.

4. Game licences and mods

You are responsible for holding any licence the game software requires and for complying with the publisher's server hosting terms. Do not upload game files you do not have the right to distribute.

5. Reporting abuse

Email [email protected] with:

  • The IP address and port
  • Timestamps in UTC
  • Logs, headers or packet captures supporting the report

We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and action verified reports promptly.

6. DMCA and copyright

Send takedown notices to [email protected] including identification of the work, the material's location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act. We forward valid notices to the customer and give them an opportunity to respond or file a counter-notice.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may contact you, filter specific traffic, suspend the service, or terminate it. We aim to give notice and an opportunity to fix things first, except where content is illegal or is causing active harm to others. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.
